This was my first 9C1, a very rusty 1990 Caprice 9C1 Canadian-market car that was once a part of the Ontario Provincial Police fleet.  I owned it for thirteen months.  I purchased it on April 1, 2001, and I sold it on May 18, 2002.  It was again resold by the individual I sold it to.  I recently became aware that it was issued a junk title by the State of Illinois on September 30, 2004, and again on October 22, 2004, Title Number X4296236018.  It is most likely lying scrapped out somewhere in northern Illinois.

How do I describe this?
Passenger's side view of dashboard, radios, and so on.
My favorite picture, even though when the body shop put the nameplates back on, they got them reversed.
Front view.
Another front view.
My old 9C1 in Vincennes, Indiana on September 11, 2001.  I was on a college visit at Vincennes University on that day.  Needless to say, my visit was somewhat interrupted by some filthy ragheads.  I did take quite a few nice pictures that will help me remember that day, however, and this is just one of them.
My old 9C1 right after being washed.  This was the first picture taken with the stock PO3 stainless steel wheel covers instead of the dog dish style hubcaps that were on the car when I bought it.
A really nice passenger's side view of the car.
An interesting rear view of the car.  I like the sun reflection off of the chrome-plated steel bumper, a rarity in today's plastic world.
Chevrolet USA-1: I took this and the following picture after installing my Chevrolet USA-1 license plate.  I went to Knightstown, IN on March 23, 2002 to get it.  I took US 40 to get there, forgoing I-70.  It was a nice trip.  Seeing the decline of the big National Road of yesteryear is almost enough to make me want to become a reactionary!
See the USA in your Chevrolet.  Well, we can see a little piece of it here, anyway.  Center Grove Middle School and Center Grove High School are visible in the background.
Exhaust By Hot Rod Scott's!  That is actually who did the custom dual exhaust on my old car before I bought it.  Must have been a huge undertaking for a '90 that originally had stock single exhaust.  What was Chevrolet thinking?  Hot Rod Scott's is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  You can contact Hot Rod Scott himself at (416) 236-0677.
This is a look at the Chevrolet 9C1 Police Package rear window decal.  This is an official GM Restoration Part.  I bought mine from Charles at http://home.att.net/~copcars.  He features unique accessories for the Caprice 9C1 as well as the Police Impersonator.  He is very reliable and a pleasure to do business with.
