When I purchased my 1990 9C1, the previous owner threw in an AutoXRay XP240 General Motors PCM diagnostic tool. While I have not yet used it to solve any major problems with my vehicle or anyone else’s, it is interesting to look through the data that the PCM is receiving and processing.
Here you will find 26-second data captures from several vehicles that display every dynamic reading going into and coming out of the PCM. These could be useful if you have such an engine that is afflicted with a driveability problem and are trying to determine what data looks abnormal when comparing your own scan to one of a healthy engine.
All spreadsheets are in Microsoft Excel 2000 format. If you need help viewing these, please contact me.
Special thanks are in order to Chris Miller, who gave me the idea for these data sheets when he used my scan tool to help him fix a problem with the LT1 in his 1993 Chevrolet Corvette.
